The Airheart MB-1 mechanical caliper disc brake is small, light weight and powerful. With only two moving parts, the brake has trouble free performance at a competitive price. The aluminum alloy housing keeps unit weight down and hardened steel parts provide greater efficiency and reliability.
The MB-1 mechanical caliper will mount on a .187 in thick disc. An optional spacer is available to expand the brake to mount on a .25 in thick disc.
Floating mounting bracket is available to allow the caliper to float in conjunction with a fixed disc.
The Airheart design gives uniform brake torque through the full lining wear life. Lever adjustments are easily and quickly made and are required only three times during the lining life.
