Summary
To perform plating operations in a manner which consistently meets quality requirements and production standards. To maintain company OSHA and EPA standards for the operation, storage and labeling of hazardous material related to the plating process. To conduct chemical tests to ensure the plating process operates at maximum efficiency, including data collection, analysis and documentation using sound statistical processes such as SPC. To perform daily, weekly and periodic equipment maintenance.
Description
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in developing and running plating processes.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and chemistry as it relates to chemical etching.
- A solid background in computer aided design using solidworks.
- Ability to wear and work with a respirator.
- Ability to manually lift material.
