Application Description: 
For their high quality bench top filling equipment this manufacturer wanted a hygienic, accurate actuator to insure an easy-to-use customer solution.

Challenge:
A manufacturer of filling lines, cup machines and conveyors for the food industry wanted to replace pneumatic cylinders with a hygienic electric actuator.

Tolomatic Solution:
ERD25 rod-style electric actuators were used with the ball screw/nut combination and IP69K option. The electric actuator was able to achieve greater filling accuracy and the use of the ball nut enabled faster speeds than the previous pneumatic system could provide.  The elimination of pneumatics created a more energy efficient system with fewer components.
