In 1955, Tolomatic introduced the first cable cylinder to the market and it is still offers several popular and efficient, cost and space saving designs. Tolomatic offers double acting, double purchase, single acting and track cable cylinder models with a wide variety of bore sizes and options.

Cable cylinders provide these distinct advantages:

• Allows equal force to be applied in both directions
• Cables can be specified in different lengths for application flexibility
• Cylinders can be isolated from any work area with extended cable lengths
• Strokes up to 60 feet
• Optional automatic cable tensioners
• Auto tensioner and brake combinations available for static holding

• Bore Sizes: Nine sizes ranging from 0.5 to  5 inches
• Strokes: Up to 60 feet 
• Maximum Force Output:  19.4 to 1919 lbs (depending on model)
• Maxium Pressure: 100 to 500 PSI (depending on model)
• Auto Tensioners and Caliper Disc Brake options

Double Purchase Cable Cylinders

• Bore Sizes: Five sizes ranging from 1.5 to 4 inches 
• Strokes: Up to 120 feet 
• Maximum Force Output: 174 to 1532 lb. (depending on model)
• Maximum Pressure: 100 to 500 PSI (depending on model)
• Double velocity capability

Single Acting Cable Cylinders

• Bore Sizes: 8 sizes ranging from 3/4-inch to 5 inches
